About Me
I’m Scott Dodd, a freelance writer and web editor based in New York City.
I spent 12 years working for newspapers, a job I loved, but one that offers very little security, sanity or peace of mind nowadays. So I’ve learned to channel my skills and experience in other ways.
As a writer, I specialize in stories about science and the environment. As a web editor, I help nonprofits tell their stories through new media.
I’m currently the online editorial manager for nrdc.org, and I blog at NRDC’s Switchboard. You can see my resume and clips at my online portfolio and follow me on Twitter.
